Zalau County Museum of History and Art and “Ioan Sima” Art Galleries invite you to the opening of the Art Fair, which takes place on December the 3rd, at 13.00, at “Ioan Sima” Art Galleries, located at 6 Gheorghe Doja Street.

The Art Fair will run from December the 3rd 2009 to January the 20th 2010. The offer includes paintings, furniture style, icons on glass, wooden icons and decorative art objects. Among the participants of this year’s fair are art galleries from Zalau, Cluj and Oradea, as well as companies with prestigious achievements in style furniture. There will also be a concert of classical music during the opening, with works by Joseph Hayden: “Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra” – played by Alexander Chirosca – piano, Dénes Kinga – oboe and ‘Concerto for Violin and orchestra in C major “- played by Titus Campean at the violin and Ghiurco Ciprian – piano.

Astazi dadeam o raita pe internet cautand niste date despre diversi artisti romani in vederea unei viitoare expozitii si mi-a cazut in vizor acest interviu luat lui Christian Paraschiv, artist roman care a plecat din tara in ‘86. Un articol interesant care merita citit pentru a ne contura o imagine despre greutatile, succesele sau caile pe care unii dintre noi le aleg constient in viata, o conditie a artistului roman in exil… Stabilit la Paris în 1986, după ce operele sale au fost puse la index de regimul comunist, Paraschiv este unul dintre vârfurile de lance ale generaţiei ’80 în arta vizuală românească – generaţia postmodernismului şi a contestării, dar şi a experimentelor de tot felul.

There are times which “catch” you, there are landscapes which „enchant” you and atmospheres which “embrace” you in a way which reveals long forgotten memories… such times are summer, the Mediterranean landscape and the atmosphere of the French Riviera. They all meet at this beginning of autumn in Cluj, in my simple “new paintings” or Mediterranean impressions.  I can say, without emphasis, that the encounter of these three marks has made me incline towards colour beatitude and the rediscovery of emotions felt long ago. The postimpressionist landscape through the Cezannian example, the fauvism with its lyrical Dufy and tenor Matisse, the joy of life from Renoir and Bonnard’s coloured palette, together with the felt and seen blue, which veils you from everywhere, all these constitute the base of my new paintings. Three elements of the landscape become central through their repetition: the blue of the sea, the red-pink flowers of oleander and the palm tree leaves. I think all three are representative to sketch the atmosphere of those places, which cannot stop surrounding you once seen. This exhibition becomes a small station in an aquatic route, started even from the Danube Delta the last few years, from where I still show sketches and chromatic exercises, that I deliberately associate, especially to illustrate these two aquatic universes resembling in essence, but still so different.

The reflections of the reeds and water lilies on the water surface, together with the vegetal element on the blue-green of the sea.

nu demult am notat aparitia unei noi galerii si case de licitatii binevenite in Romania si anume Artmark. Citind urmatoarele linkuri din Ziarul Financiar  puteti sa va faceti o idee mai ampla despre evenimentele marca Artmark cat si sa parcurgeti un interviu cu fondatorul acesteia, Radu Boroianu cu privire la urmatoarea licitatie din 25 iunie a.c.

Cautand una si alta am dat despre acest foarte bun interviu luat criticului si expertului in arta Valentin Ciuca in decembrie anul trecut si postat de Daniel Baba, pe care il consider ca merita sa fie citit de catre cei interesati de starea pietei de arta romanesti. Si in acelas timp un site la fel de bun, Art-Business, unde se pot parcurge si alte articole la fel de bune si pertinente asupra artistilor, cotelor si targurilor romanesti de arta. Enjoy it!

Revin dupa o perioada lunga de absenta din motive f. intemeiate, trecand in revista ultimul an recent incheiat, 2008, cu bune si rele, mai multe bune decat rele, chiar daca inspre final a venit ca o umbra peste noi criza economica… cu toate acestea pot spune ca anul 2008 per ansamblu a fost bun, iar ecourile avute de la alti artisti mi-au confirmat ideile, piata de arta romaneasca a mers ascendent.
Dar reluand, recitind anumite linkuri salvate anul trecut mi se par relevante urmatoarele, pe care va invit sa le cititi, unul foarte pertinent si anume: “Pretul si cota sau lungul drum al artei catre piata”, un interviu cu scriitorul Tudor Octavian, de Miron Manega aparut in Saptamana finaciara. Chiar daca a fost scris in 2006, ramane foarte actual in esenta…Si un al doilea intitulat: “Licitaţia anului: peste 570.000 de euro încasări, numai pe tablouri” de acelasi autor, dar la finele anului trecut…
